Active Query Builder .NET Edition 1.2.4 released

We're glad to announce the new minor version of Active Query Builder .NET Edition. You can download the free version or request trial at the download page.

What's new in the Active Query Builder .NET Edition 1.2.4?

  • SQL Parsing Improvements
    • Firebird Syntax and Metadata providers are added. *
    • Advantage Database Server metadata provider is added. *
    • New type of named parameters ("?param") is added in MySQL syntax provider.
  • Programming API improvements
    • New QueryBuilder.UnionNavBarVisible property is added. It allows to hide the Union Navigation Bar at the top-right corner of the Main Query Building Area in case you want to disable visual building of union sub-queries.
    • New QueryBuilder.MetadataTreeOptions properties allows you to alter captions of "Tables", "Views" and "Procedures" nodes: MetadataTreeOptions.TablesNodeText, MetadataTreeOptions.ViewsNodeText, MetadataTreeOptions.ProceduresNodeText.
    • A simple way to add a subquery programmatically using the UnionSubQuery.AddFromExpression() method is added.
  • Miscellaneous
    • The "Insert sub-query" context menu item is added at the Expression and Criteria columns of the Columns Pane.
    • Specific version dependencies for MySQL.Data, VistaDB.NET20 and IBM.Data.DB2 assemblies are removed.
    • Several minor bugs are fixed.
